About CFA FCT/UNL

This Research Group established in the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa has for a long time pursued scientific research on several atomic and molecular physics domains, both experimental and theoretical. Strong and successful collaboration exists between the members of this group and research groups in the Universidade de Lisboa, the Universidade de Coimbra, the Laboratoire Kastler Broussel (France), the University of Heildelberg (German), the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), the synchrotron radiation facility Elettra (Italy), and the University of Southampton, UK.

The objectives of the research developed in this research group are framed around three following main areas: Atomic systems, Molecular systems, Instrumentation.
